The Beta Site is a website intended to serve as a resource for anyone who wishes to write fan fiction set in the Stargate SG-1 Universe. Here you will find not only information about the show and its characters but also plenty of links, tips, and tricks to help writers with those general questions that always seem to cause headaches.

Grammar, style, characterization, punctuation, plot, mood, tone... it's all here. You'll find plenty of links, tips, and helpful essays to help you answer all questions. Plus we have information and advice for working with an editor or a beta reader, links to great web-based reference pages (dictionary, thesaurus, language translations, etc.), guides to jump start your research in medical, military, scientific, mythologic, and historical areas.

Of course, we provide all the information you need about the Stargate universe or we will give you a link to where you can find what you need.
